This is the place to eat here, the "food" street is very busy and packed while round the corner is this absolute gem of a place quiet and situated under grape vines. The elderly couple who run it are fantastic and very friendly. Everything is cooked over coals in the front garden and the food was far greater than the sum of its parts as Portuguese food can be but not always. It is cash only so be aware of that but believe me it'll be some of the best food you have in Cascais.

The grilled seafood here is simply amazing that each dish is perfectly cooked. The flavors are well-balanced, and you can really taste the care that goes into the preparation. What made this experience more memorable was the warm hospitality provided by the elderly lady who served us. Although she didn’t speak English, her efforts to communicate with a smile and her genuine kindness added a special touch to our meal. One thing to note is that they do not accept card payments, so be prepared to pay in cash. If you’re in the mood for delicious grilled seafood, it’s a must-visit restaurant for you.

This place looked a bit dated and old-fashioned at first sight, but turned out to be a real hidden gem run by an elderly couple, with great seafood. At first, we were a bit sceptical to go inside (because we were the only customers even on a Friday evening) but are glad we did - the seafood was fresh, nicely marinated and grilled in front of our eyes on a charcoal grill (that they turned on only for us) and also at a decent price. The owner couple was very friendly, although communication was a bit hard since we didn't speak Portuguese. So don't let yourself be put off by the old-style decoration and lack of customers - the great food and friendly cuouple made this into one of the best seafood dinners we had in all of our stay in Portugal.
